"Life is beautiful", Alen Dodić

This book is not a manual for life, nor a book that claims to have all the answers. These are just traces of thoughts that arose when I dared to stand in front of the mirror and listen to myself. Just what I feel inside – regardless of whether others like it or not. It is clear to any reasonable person that we cannot please the whole world, nor should that be our goal.
If we start living our lives to please everyone, we will inevitably lose ourselves and what makes us special. The beauty of life is not that everyone loves us, but that those who don't love us stop being important to us. So choose those who love you, and wish the rest of us happiness.
In a world that constantly forces us to chase better, faster, and bigger - the hardest thing for us is to stop and listen to our desires and separate them from our real needs.
It is precisely in this regard that the hidden beauty of life lies, which does not require us to change and constantly adapt to other people's expectations, but to see and accept ourselves as we are. Once we accept ourselves as we are, we will be able to accept others much more easily.
The following topics are not here to tell you how to live, but to make you wonder and understand how pain has meaning, the body has wisdom, and nutrition has a much deeper impact than advertisements tell us. And most importantly - that the right to inner satisfaction is not a goal but a way of life.
Happiness in life is a state that patiently awaits us all the time when we stop running towards our desires.
I imagined these lines as a journey through the truth that we all know, but have forgotten or do not want to accept, even though it was within our reach - laughter, losses, love, and the everyday beauty that hides within each of us.
Don't look for perfection in the pages of this book. Instead, try to find yourself – a person who knows that even an imperfect life is very valuable.
Don't think that people who seem perfect are really that way. People who seem perfect are the ones who try the hardest to hide their own fears and weaknesses.
Perfection is just a mask, not reality. Behind a calm face there can be storms, inside a seemingly healthy body – hidden illnesses, and behind strong words there is an emptiness that no one sees, but the one who has it, feels it very much.
It's important not to compare yourself to what people portray. It's more important to live your truth, no matter how imperfect it may be.
Health and balance in life do not come from perfection, but from honesty with oneself.
There are no perfect people, only those who strive to understand life and become a little closer to the truth about themselves every day.
