Fruit and vegetable sterilizer

The device is used to purify agricultural by-products and bacteria on the surface of fruits and vegetables. It can also be used to disinfect cooking utensils. Depending on the purpose for which you are using it, you can place the device in the kitchen sink or any container or waterproof bag.

The sterilizer can sterilize fruits and/or vegetables submerged in a minimum of 1.5 to 8 liters of water. Place the sterilizer in the sink or any container or waterproof bag into which you have poured tap water and placed the fruits and/or vegetables and turn it on!

It is necessary to use a minimum of 1.5 liters of water, and for a larger volume of water, the procedure must be carried out several times:

• If the water volume is 1.5-approx. 5 liters, it is sufficient to perform one cleaning cycle of 5 minutes.
• If the water volume is approximately 6 liters, two 5-minute cleaning cycles are required.
• If the water volume is approximately 8 liters, three 5-minute cleaning cycles are required.

Important: the sterilizer should never be turned on outside of water; it must be submerged at all times!

How does it work?

Electrolysis breaks water molecules into hydroxide ions and hydrogen ions (OH- and H+). Part of OH- binds to hydrogen in the cell walls of pesticides and recombines their molecular structure and degrades them into harmless compounds. The second part of OH- reacts with chlorine in the water to form hypochlorous acid, which kills bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms through an oxidation reaction.
