These simple, healthy, delicious and completely raw vegan rolls are served with a spicy chili sauce that will warm you up from the inside.
Ingredients:
- Rice paper for wrapping
For the filling (cut into thin strips):
- Kale
- Purple cabbage
- Carrot
- Sprouts of choice
- Radishes
- Chives
- Pomegranate berries
- Mint leaves
Chilli sauce:
- 4-6 dates without seeds
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 chili pepper (remove seeds)
- A cube of fresh ginger (1cm x 1cm)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Preparation:
Cut the vegetables for filling the rolls into as thin strips as possible.
Soak the rice paper in warm water for a few seconds.
Place the rice paper on a flat surface and fill it with the sliced vegetables. Don't put too much in so that it doesn't fall out when you wrap the rolls.
Roll the roll by rolling the filling into the rice paper halfway, folding the sides inward, and rolling it all the way up.
Cut the roll in half and place on a serving plate.
For the sauce, put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
