This salad will fill many who have not tried it with doubt, because they have certainly never heard of raw kale on a salad in a conventional diet. However, this combination should be given a chance, because it has an extremely interesting taste and is very filling.
Avocado, kale and tomato salad by Zelenarium.com
This salad will fill many who have not tried it with doubt, because they have certainly never heard of raw kale on a salad in a conventional diet. However, this combination should be given a chance, because it has an extremely interesting taste and is very filling.
INGREDIENTS:
2 HANDFULS OF KALE
1 CUP CHERRY TOMATOES
1/2 CUP OF WALNUTS
SALT (TO TASTE)
.
DRESSING:
1 AVOCADO
1/2 TSP ONION OR GARLIC POWDER (I SOMETIMES USE RAW GARLIC)
1/4 CUP OF OLIVE OIL
2 TBS LEMON JUICE (OR 1 TBS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, IF YOU DON'T LIKE LEMON IN YOUR SALAD)
.
Be sure to remove the central stem from the kale (otherwise it will have an unpleasant taste), so that only the leaf remains. After washing, cut the kale leaves into thin strips. Add salt and let it rest for a few minutes. Then gently mash the kale with your hands to soften it. Add the sliced tomatoes and finely chopped walnuts. Gently mix again with your hands.
Blend all the ingredients for the dressing in a blender. Add a little water if necessary, but be careful not to overdo it.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix.
