Lecture: Why are we getting sicker?
Lecturer: Goran Radovanić, MSc, Nutritionist.
The author of the book The Secret of Health, few people are left indifferent by his knowledge and completely different approach to a healthy and proper diet.
The hit book "The Secret of Health" has been translated and published in English and German, and is currently one of the best-selling books in Croatia in the nutrition segment. The legendary Ćiro Blažević said:
“There have been previous attempts to address and communicate the topic of quality sports nutrition among athletes and average people, but no one has managed to do it as simply and understandably as my friend, athlete Goran Radovanić. Whoever I showed Goran's concept of healthy nutrition to, they were delighted. And truly, everyone will find something for themselves in the book.”
Goran is a former professional footballer and a member of the "Organisation of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Experts" from Italy (OLEA), which has helped him immensely to better detect a number of problems and misconceptions hidden in today's diet. He has organised a series of training courses for olive oil evaluators and tasters in Croatia.
He wrote a column for "Sportske novosti" which quickly gained a large readership and continued to be published in duplicate. He was a guest at numerous lectures, radio shows, on HRT and many local television stations, and "The Secret of Health" was written about in all eminent newspapers.
He currently collaborates with Croatian and foreign athletes, actors and other public figures, as well as recreational athletes, but also all other people who have recognized the importance of proper nutrition.
Goran brings you a story on how to eat healthier, and cheaper! Today, people are more informed than ever about a "healthy" diet, and more and more people are getting sick. Even athletes!
