Do you use a manual vacuum pump and often wonder if you've pumped enough air out of your vacuum container? If you vacuum seal food in vacuum containers, jars, or with universal vacuum lids every day, then we recommend using an electric vacuum pump that sucks out the air with the push of a button and always creates optimal vacuum.
Electric vacuum pump BVP130
Electric vacuum pump BVP130 is the third series of electric pumps from Status. It is a reduced version that takes up much less space and is also suitable for use on a picnic or on the road.
Why use an electric pump instead of a manual or machine pump?
We recommend the use of the electric vacuum pump BVP130 to people who vacuum food in Status's vacuum containers and other vacuum aids several times a day. It makes vacuuming even easier for the elderly and those with weakened hand strength. It will also solve the doubts of all of you who doubt if you have sucked enough air with a manual vacuum pump.
How does it work?
The electric vacuum pump is very easy to use. Place the pump on the valve of the vacuum container, the cap or the universal lid and activate it by pressing the On/Off button. The pump extracts air, which is indicated by the indicator light, which alternates between red and green. It stops when it reaches the preset vacuum. Your food is stored safely at the touch of a button.
Advantages of vacuum
Vacuuming is the only natural way to extend the freshness and durability of food. By slowing down oxidation, you slow down the development of molds and bacteria, which is why the stability of food is extended by four times. For you, this means that you will throw away less food and save money.
Vacuuming protects your refrigerator from unpleasant odors because the odors are sealed in the vacuum-sealed container.
Versatile application of the electric pump BVP130 with Status vacuum aids
The electric vacuum pump is suitable for use on all Status vacuum aids.
- Vacuum containers of all sizes and shapes are quickly vacuum sealed to a preset vacuum. Fruits, vegetables and other foods are protected from oxidation, so they stay fresh for longer.
- Re-vacuum the vacuum jug after each glass to preserve the vitamins, minerals and enzymes in freshly squeezed juices for longer.
- Use universal vacuum lids to vacuum seal food in its original packaging (pickles, baby food, stew in a pot, etc.). With the BVP130, you can quickly vacuum seal the contents of your entire refrigerator.
- Vacuum caps preserve the flavor of wine and other beverages in bottles for several days or weeks. Using the BVP130 electric vacuum pump, there is less chance of anything tipping over and spilling when vacuuming bottles. After the vacuuming process is complete, remove the pump from the cap by moving it to the side.
Due to the strength of the suction, the BVP130 electric vacuum pump remains attached to the valve of the vacuum container, lid or vacuum plug after vacuuming. Remove the pump by gently moving it to the side or wait a few seconds (about 20 seconds, depending on the type of device) until the vacuum on the pump valve is released.
Charge
You can charge the electric pump in several ways. The set includes a charging cable with a micro USB or USB 2.0 port that you can plug into your computer. The charging speed depends on the type of USB port. If the USB port is only intended for data transfer, charging will be slower than if the USB port is intended for charging. It usually takes two to four hours to charge the device. You can also charge the BVP130 vacuum pump using an adapter, which is not included in the set, or with a portable battery (5V and 800 mA).
Size
A significant advantage of the BVP130 electric vacuum pump is its size:
- height 11.2 centimeters,
- length and width 5.5 centimeters.
It weighs only 0.2 kilograms, so you won't even notice if you take it with you on vacation or a picnic.
Maintenance
The electric vacuum pump is easy to maintain because it does not come into contact with food and therefore does not require cleaning. If it gets dirty, just wipe it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use aggressive sponges to avoid damaging the seal. Do not expose the BVP130 pump to a source of water or heat. Store it in a dry place.
Material
The pump housing is made of PC ABS plastic, and the seal is silicone.
