A great sprinkle for salads and other dishes. From these ingredients, you will get 2 jars of sprinkle. You can consume one immediately, and freeze the other or keep it in the refrigerator. When ground, nuts tend to
rancid.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup assorted nuts; walnuts, cashews, pine nuts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1 tablespoon of delicious yeast
- optional: 3–5 green olives
Preparation:
In a blender or food processor, blend/pulse the ingredients until they are lumpy. Do not blend too much or at too high a speed, as this will turn them into butter or powder.
You can enjoy the spread raw or lightly toast it in the oven at low to medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Store in two glass jars.
