Ingredients:
· 2 cups cashews (soaked for 8 hours)
·1 cup orange pepper juice (about 2 peppers)
·1 teaspoon of probiotic powder
·1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
·1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
·1/2 teaspoon onion powder
·1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation :
In a high-powered blender, blend the soaked cashews, pepper juice, and probiotics until you get a completely smooth mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover with baking paper and leave to stand in a warm place for about 12 hours (e.g. on a dehydrator (not inside) or in a kitchen cupboard). You will know that the probiotics have successfully developed when air bubbles appear in the mixture, you will smell fermentation and
It will have a slightly sour taste. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add the nutritional yeast, salt, garlic and onion and mix everything well with a whisk. Serve with chips and salsa.
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
